  1. Book-It can be installed by running file SETUP.EXE
  2. from Windows File Manager or Program Manager. Use the
  3. installation defaults where possible throughout the
  4. installation routine. The Book-It system will be installed
  5. in a directory of your choice.

  7. The following files will also be copied to your
  8. WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory - 
  9.  
  10. SHELL.DLL
  11. VER.DLL
  12. COMMDLG.DLL
  13. DLECLI.DLL
  14. TOOLHELP.DLL
  15. FOXPRINT.TTF
  16. FOXPRINT.FOT
  17.  
  18. The install routine will only overwrite Windows files if
  19. they are older by default, you may like to have a backup
  20. of any files that are to be overwritten. No changes will
  21. be made to your Windows INI files.

  23. If you are upgrading your copy of Book-It you should first
  24. make a backup of your entire Book-It directory, then
  25. install this new version into the same directory. The next
  26. time you run Book-It the system will detect that it has
  27. been upgraded and will automatically make any changes
  28. necessary to your existing data files so that they can be
  29. used with the new version.
